Alrightie… so we’ve managed to film the later part of the story on the 30th and what happened?
Well, we’ve manage to finish kinda early, 3a.m and we would like to thank our very, very patient cast and crew for all of the effort that was put into this! Let’s thank them individually.
Thank you SOOOO much estee! You’ve managed to come all the way down from Lasalle to help us out! Thanks babe! What a good friend! Thanks to Gita and Hafiz too for helping us carry our heavy equipment.
Thanks James for helping us out to fill in for our cast! Sorry for the clothes we had to make you wear… it was horribly hot and we know! We’ll make it up to you!
Chooni, thanks girl! Sorry for making you look so horrible with the make up and the waiting time… But at least you looked fantastic!
And last but not least, thanks a million to Johnathan!!! He plays our lead Cale and he did an amazing job! We are so blessed to have you on board our team.
These were our roles for the day:
Justin: Director/cameraman
Cheryl: Camerawoman
Wiing: Producer/planner/cast i/c
Felicia: assistant director/ runner
Louis: photographer/ runner
All of these roles were not set in stone but these were the general roles we played during the filming.
Justin took home all the videos to digitize the tapes while Louis took home the photos. Louis will be handling the behind the scenes photographs and hopefully, he’ll upload them soon!
Somehow or rather, we’ve managed to film the longest part of our film!!! Yay us! We’re tired and drained but at least we’re done man…
Alright, now we need to confirm 2nd part of the filming.

Different types of basic shots to remember that can be used for our film production

![]() VWS (Very Wide Shot) The subject is visible (barely), but the emphasis is still on placing her in her environment. |
![]() WS (Wide Shot) The subject takes up the full frame, or at least as much as possible. The same as a long shot. |
![]() MS (Mid Shot) Shows some part of the subject in more detail whilst still giving an impression of the whole subject. |
![]() MCU (Medium Close Up) Half way between a MS and a CU. |
![]() CU (Close Up) A certain feature or part of the subject takes up the whole frame. |
![]() ECU (Extreme Close Up) The ECU gets right in and shows extreme detail. |
![]() CA (Cutaway) A shot of something other than the current action. |
![]() Cut-In Shows some part of the subject in detail. |
![]() Two-Shot A comfortable shot of two people, framed similarly to a mid shot. |
![]() (OSS) Over-the-Shoulder Shot Looking from behind a person at the subject. |
![]() Noddy Shot Usually refers to a shot of the interviewer listening and reacting to the subject, although noddies can be used in drama and other situations. |
![]() Point-of-View Shot (POV) Shows a view from the subject’s perspective. |
![]() Weather Shot The subject is the weather, usually the sky. Can be used for other purposes. |
